Sushith Mundayadan

General Manager of an Irish wholefood business, and twenty years into a career that has run through every layer of the commercial engine, from search results to enterprise accounts to cross‑border trade.

Ireland Commerce & operations Since 2007

Work

I started in search, moved into advertising, spent eight years learning how large accounts actually behave, and then came to Ireland to run commerce for a business that ships food across borders. The through line is that I have done the work at every level, and so I tend to know which lever matters and when to pull it.

2024 – now

General Manager

Nuts in Bulk · Outlet Wholefood Company Limited · Ireland

I run the commercial side of a wholefood business that sells into Ireland, the United Kingdom and the wider European Union, which means pricing, margin, channel strategy, distributor agreements and the operations that sit underneath all of it.

Elsewhere

Outside work I read a great deal, mostly non‑fiction, and mostly in three directions: space science and astronomy, history and anthropology, and the long argument about how cultures hold themselves together.

I write as well as read, mainly business and non‑fiction writing, because setting an argument down in order is the fastest way I know to find out whether it actually holds.

I also build things. I have been comfortable around Linux and open source since 2010, and most of my side projects begin as an attempt to understand a system rather than remain a customer of it. Chess and cricket fill in the rest.
